The Toddler Program - 2 year olds

The Toddler Program is designed to meet the special needs 

of children 2 years old.  Dr. Montessori realized that once a 

child stands upright and walks he or she experiences a 

"second birth."  Having the independence for free movement 

the child is able to move into the larger social community.

The toddler environment is divided into several areas including: 

movement, eating, bathroom, and cognitive materials.    

The environment fosters independence, trust, and individual 

achievement as well as a strong self esteem.
